Dr. Salna specializes in complex aortic and reconstructive cardiac surgery, a field he chose because of its core principle of restoration—repairing what is damaged and replacing what no longer serves its purpose. His expertise spans the full spectrum of aortic procedures, from advanced aortic root surgeries aimed at preserving the native valve to complex reconstructions of the aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aorta. In addition, he performs a broad range of cardiac procedures, including multi-arterial coronary artery bypass grafting as well as mitral and tricuspid valve repairs.
